Frostbite is a music software plugin that changes sounds by freezing them. It includes a Ring Modulator and a Feedback module. There are three freezing modes: spectral, reverb, and convolution. These modes let you turn any sound into ambient textures, soundscapes, or frozen reverbs.

You can also use Frostbite for extreme sound experiments. It can completely change any sound with strong modulations. The signal flow in Frostbite is flexible. You can move the modules around easily by dragging and dropping them. You can choose between two modes: serial and parallel.

Frostbite features

  • Freeze Modes: There are four freeze modes: spectral, reverb, convolution, and granular. These modes help change the sound in different ways.
  • Ring Modulator: This changes the sound by mixing it with another frequency.
  • Feedback: The feedback module lets the sound loop back into itself.
  • Flexible Routing: You can arrange the modules easily by dragging and dropping them.
  • One LFO: One low-frequency oscillator can affect multiple parts of the sound.
  • Over 70 Presets: Frostbite comes with more than 70 preset settings.
  • Resizable Window: You can change the plugin window size to fit your needs.
  • Preset System with Randomizer: The preset system can create random settings for new sounds.
