Not every rapper needs to start a record label

Being a rapper does not mean someone should start their own record label. Also, when the CEO of a company is a rapper or entertainer, it does not mean they have the skills to manage a business or delegate tasks well. Running a record company in the music business requires different talents, like understanding finances, organizing teams, and making long-term plans. Even if someone is very successful in the business of music or entertainment, this success does not always mean they will be a strong business leader. People should choose their roles based on their skills, not just their fame.

Poor management and support

Good record labels provide strong support to their artists. They help with recording, producing, and distributing music. They also offer guidance on career decisions. Incompetent labels may neglect these responsibilities. Artists may find themselves without the help they need to succeed. This lack of support makes it hard for them to improve and reach their goals.

Unfair contracts

Artists who are naive may not understand the terms of the contract and agree to unfavorable deals. This can limit their ability to make money and keep control of their work.

Limited opportunities

Incompetent labels may not have the right connections in the music industry. They might struggle to get artists booked for shows, featured on radio, or included in playlists. Without these opportunities, it is difficult for artists to gain popularity and build a successful career.
