Underground EZX for EZDrummer 3 and Superior 3
Toontrack has released a new expansion called Underground EZX for their EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 software. David Sandström, the drummer of the band Refused, and Martin “Konie” Ehrencrona, an engineer, producer, and mixer, created this expansion. It is the third release in Toontrack’s Metal Month campaign and the 66th title in their collection of EZX expansions.
Underground EZX aims to capture the raw sound of drums recorded in a small basement studio using a combination of vintage and modern equipment. The expansion is inspired by various underground music genres from the early 1990s to the present day, including punk, hardcore, metal, indie, psychedelic rock, and krautrock. The drum kits in this expansion are designed to sound unpolished, gritty, and tangible, setting them apart from other drum libraries.
Toontrack describes Underground EZX as an eclectic collection of drums that sounds far from the beaten path. They say it is perfect for those looking for an EZX that is loud, decadent, angry, and full of unpretentious, nonchalant energy. Underground EZX promises to deliver a unique and exciting addition to the EZdrummer 3 and Superior Drummer 3 software.
