Adinath Kothare takes on detective role in Zee5’s Detective Dhananjay
Adinath Kothare will be seen playing a detective for the first time in the upcoming series Detective Dhananjay. He shared that while the role is challenging, it is also incredibly interesting, pushing him as both an actor and a storyteller.
This series, based on the iconic character Dhananjay created by novelist Baburao Arnalkar, will also see Adinath as a producer. The series is a collaboration between Shrirang Godbole’s Indian Magic Eye and Adinath’s Storytellers Nook Pvt. Ltd, under the Zee5 Marathi Originals banner.
Adinath’s acting journey began as a child actor in 1994’s Majha Chakula and later gained recognition for roles in Zapatlela 2, Hello Nandan, and 83. He also made his directorial debut with Paani, which won a National Film Award. Adinath is married to actress Urmila Kothare and has a daughter.
