EWU hosts largest inter-university literary competition

On October 16, 2025, East West University (EWU) hosted its biggest annual event, the Foodi Presents EWU Lit-Carnival 2025, bringing together over 200 participants from 22 universities across Bangladesh. The campus was filled with artistic energy, offering competitions like Spot Poetry, Comic-Con, Drama, Poster Presentation, and Masquerade, along with a literature-themed food court and used-book swap.

The event was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Mohammed Farashuddin, EWU’s Board Chairperson, and Ms. Luva Nahid Choudhury, Director General of Bengal Foundation, who officially opened the stalls. The Spot Poetry competition, judged by literary figures like Ms. Munize Manzur and Professor Dr. Fakrul Alam, was a major highlight. The day ended with a grand award ceremony, where Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of EWU, gave the closing remarks.
