Graham Potter set to become Sweden coach

Graham Potter is close to becoming the head coach of the Swedish national team, according to The Athletic. He will sign a short-term contract, which could be extended if Sweden qualifies for the 2026 World Cup. The previous coach, Jan Dahl Thomasson, was fired after recent losses to Albania and Switzerland in the qualifiers. Potter has a strong connection to Swedish football, having coached Östersund for five years, followed by stints at Swansea City, Brighton, and unsuccessful spells with Chelsea and West Ham.
