Jaishankar, Alckmin discuss boosting India-Brazil ties

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met Brazilian Vice President Geraldo Alckmin in New Delhi on Friday. They discussed ways to improve cooperation in trade, investment, energy, connectivity, health, and technology.

Earlier, Vice President C P Radhakrishnan also met Alckmin, focusing on energy cooperation, defense, pharmaceuticals, and areas like Artificial Intelligence and digitalization. Both sides expressed optimism about strengthening their trade and economic ties.

In a meeting with Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Alckmin reviewed bilateral trade ties and committed to further cooperation in energy, healthcare, agriculture, and technology. Both nations highlighted their shared values and focus on inclusive growth.
