Justine Madugu nominated for CAF Coach of the Year after Super Falcons’ 10th title

Super Falcons head coach, Justine Madugu, has been nominated for the CAF Coach of the Year award for 2025. Madugu led the team to their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations title in Morocco this summer, defeating the hosts 3-2 in the final. Nine other coaches are also nominated for the award. Flamingos captain, Shakirat Moshood, is up for the Young Player of the Year award and will lead the team at the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco. Additionally, the Super Falcons are nominated for the National Team of the Year award.
