Meta removes Facebook group tracking ICE agents at DOJ’s request

Meta removed a Facebook page used to track immigration agents at the request of the Department of Justice. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed the removal, stating the page violated policies against coordinated harm. This follows similar actions by Apple and Google, who blocked apps that tracked US immigration agents. While Bondi argues the tracking endangers ICE officers, app users and developers claim it is their First Amendment right to monitor ICE activity, especially amid increased immigration enforcement under President Trump. Despite the removal of one group, many others still remain active on Facebook.
