Pankaj Dheer remembered at prayer meet in Mumbai
The Indian film and television industry came together on October 17th in Mumbai to mourn the loss of veteran actor Pankaj Dheer, who passed away on October 15th at the age of 68. A prayer meet was held by the Dheer family, attended by many industry colleagues and friends, including filmmakers and actors like Rohit Shetty, Sharad Saxena, Suresh Oberoi, Esha Deol, and Jackie Shroff.
Pankaj Dheer was best known for his role as Karna in the iconic television series Mahabharat. His career spanned over four decades, with notable roles in Chandrakanta, Bado Bahu, Sasural Simar Ka, and films like Baadshah and Soldier.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Dheer; son, Niketan Dheer; daughter-in-law, Kratika Sengar; and granddaughter, Devika.
