Sri Lanka PM visits NITI Aayog to boost India ties

Sri Lankan Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya visited NITI Aayog to strengthen collaboration between Sri Lanka and India. She aimed to learn from India’s initiatives in infrastructure, education, tourism, skill development, and artificial intelligence. Amarasuriya praised NITI Aayog’s role in policy-making and its ability to link analysis, evidence, and citizen feedback to effective governance. Discussions covered India’s initiatives like PM Gati Shakti for infrastructure planning, the National Education Policy 2020, and collaborative opportunities in tourism and AI.
