Adani, Google plot $15B AI hub in Vizag

AdaniConneX and Google have partnered to build India’s largest AI data center campus in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. The $15 billion project, spread over 2026 to 2030, will include large-scale data operations, supported by clean energy and a subsea cable network. The facility aims to significantly boost India’s AI computing power.

The project also includes new transmission lines and renewable energy systems to support both the data center and the wider power grid. Google and Adani emphasized their shared goal of sustainable development and digital growth. The hub is expected to generate thousands of jobs across tech, construction, and energy sectors. It positions Visakhapatnam as a key technology center in India’s AI expansion.
