Anwar vows to fight corruption after RM15.5 billion recovery
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim said the government is committed to fighting corruption, malpractice, and cartel activities after recovering RM15.5 billion in two years.
Anwar, who is also the Finance Minister, stated that the success shows the government’s resolve to hold all parties accountable, even high-ranking individuals, if they harm the country. He emphasized the need to break up criminal groups stealing from the people.
Anwar called on the youth to support this effort and uphold justice, no matter the title or status of those involved. He also urged students to focus on both character development and knowledge to help Malaysia grow.
The Prime Minister also highlighted efforts to secure the country’s future through clean governance and stronger support for welfare and infrastructure.
