AWS outage disrupts Fortnite, Roblox, PSN in North Virginia

Gaming services began recovering on Tuesday after an Amazon Web Services outage disrupted approximately half of internet operations. Epic Games reported all systems operational for Fortnite, Rocket League, and the Epic Games Store, while Roblox confirmed AWS had restored connectivity. PlayStation Network and Electronic Arts services resumed normal operations following connection problems traced to the AWS disruption.

The AWS status page indicated impaired service only in North Virginia, with other regions functioning normally. Users may still encounter temporary matchmaking or connectivity issues despite the restoration progress. The recovery signals suggest players should experience minimal disruption for online gaming sessions, but some lingering problems could persist as systems fully stabilize across affected platforms.
