Bangladesh Army dominates 5th squash champs

The 5th National Squash Championship 2025 finished on Thursday with a big final and award ceremony at Bashundhara Sports City. The tournament started on October 13 and was opened by Youth and Sports Adviser Asif MahmudShojibBhuyain.

Seven categories were featured, with four for men and three for women. The open male group got the most attention, as the Bangladesh Squash Federation prepares for the SA Cup Championship.

Bangladesh Army won both the open male and female groups. In the premier category, Corporal Shahadat Hossain from Bangladesh Army won for the third time in a row, beating Md Sumon from Uttara Club.

Shahadat’s win marked his sixth national squash title.
