Bengaluru Torpedoes extend win streak with Kochi defeat

Bengaluru Torpedoes extended their winning streak in the Prime Volleyball League with a 13-15, 17-15, 15-9, 15-12 victory over Kochi Blue Spikers at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday. Matt West was named Player of the Match for his exceptional setting and leadership. Despite strong efforts from Kochi’s Abhishek C.K. and Erin Varghese, Bengaluru capitalized on Kochi’s unforced errors and the injury to setter Byron Keturakis. With Jalen Penrose and Joel Benjamin leading the charge, the Torpedoes sealed their third consecutive win.

In other matches, Delhi Toofans claimed their first victory of the season, defeating Hyderabad Black Hawks 15-10, 16-14, 17-15, with Carlos Berrios earning Player of the Match. Ahmedabad Defenders triumphed over Calicut Heroes 12-15, 15-12, 15-12, 16-14, with Battur Batsuuri named Player of the Match. Chennai Blitz defeated Goa Guardians 12-15, 15-11, 11-15, 18-16, 15-13, with Jerome Vinith recognized as Player of the Match.
