India women stay positive after South Africa loss
After their loss to South Africa in the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup, the Indian women’s cricket team remains focused and positive, determined not to let the defeat derail their plans. All-rounder Sneh Rana emphasized that one loss won’t define their future and that the team is committed to sticking to their plans and improving. Despite failing to capitalize on an advantage against South Africa, where they reduced the Proteas to 142/6, India is focused on moving forward.
Rana downplayed concerns over India’s struggles against left-arm spinners, citing past successes and confidence in their batters. She expressed confidence heading into their next match against defending champions Australia, drawing strength from their recent victory over them in a bilateral series. Rana also noted that familiarity with the conditions in Visakhapatnam from a pre-World Cup camp would help the team perform better.
