Bhavtegh Singh Gill stays in the hunt at ISSF World Championship

India’s Bhavtegh Singh Gill remained in contention for a finals spot at the ISSF World Championship Shotgun 2025 after finishing the second day of men’s skeet qualification with 97 hits at the Malakasa Shooting Range in Athens. He added rounds of 24 and 23 to his perfect opening day, keeping him in striking distance of the top six. Vincent Hancock of the USA and Jakub Tomecek of Czechia lead with 99 hits.

Among other Indians, Mairaj Ahmad Khan is 81st with 92 hits, and Anantjeet Singh Naruka is 91st with 90 hits. In the women’s skeet event, USA’s Samantha Simonton leads with 98 hits, while India’s Raiza Dhillon is 29th.

The final day of qualification will take place on Sunday, with the top six shooters advancing to the finals.
