BNP accepts July Charter, criticizes parties for setting conditions

BNP Joint Secretary General Syed Emran Saleh Prince stated on Thursday that despite initial reservations about certain aspects of the July Charter, BNP has shown its commitment to national unity by accepting those points in discussions for the greater good of the country, democracy, and the nation.

He criticized a few political parties for not prioritizing national interests and for setting conditions at the final stage, which he believes is disappointing for the nation. Prince made these remarks during a mass campaign at Dobaura Bazar in Mymensingh, where he engaged with local businessmen, buyers, and the public, listening to their concerns and assuring them that a BNP government would address their issues progressively.

During the campaign, Prince distributed leaflets outlining BNP’s 31-point agenda and future welfare plans, urging people to vote for the ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ symbol. He emphasized BNP’s commitment to driving revolutionary changes in socio-economic development for all sectors of society, both rural and urban. He also urged political leaders to honor the people’s desire for change and the sacrifices of the martyrs.
