Father of dead child warns killer may walk free again

The next hearing for the accident where 12-year-old Siyana died will happen today. The child’s grandfather was also badly hurt in the accident.

Before the hearing, Siyana’s father asked for help. He said the driver, Georgi Alexandrov, might avoid punishment again, despite his past convictions. He also said the Supreme Court’s decisions could let the driver go free.

Siyana’s father mentioned that the case was moved to the National Investigation Service. He also pointed out that the prosecutors had no right to handle the case after their time was up. He called for a protest outside the Pleven Courthouse today at 9 a.m. to show support for Siyana.
