Parliament stalls as Boyko Borisov’s call leaves MPs absent
Parliament could not meet today. Only 53 MPs showed up when 121 were needed. MPs did not meet for two days because there were not enough people in the hall.
Another meeting was set for 9 a.m. this morning, but many MPs did not register. Boyko Borisov asked party members not to show up, and they listened.
MPs from “DPS-New Beginning” also stayed out of the hall for two days. The MPs from “There are such people” and the BSP did not attend either.
Delyan Peevski talked to Prime Minister Zhelyazkov and hopes for a decision by Monday. The BSP said they would make changes if needed. “There are such people” has not said anything.
