Human rights group slams Pakistan airstrikes on Afghanistan

The Alliance of Human Rights Activists has condemned Pakistan for airstrikes on Afghan territories in Kandahar and Kabul, calling them a serious violation of Afghanistan’s sovereignty and international law. The group stated that innocent Afghans are suffering due to “terror-driven politics” and emphasized that national sovereignty and the lives of civilians must be respected.

The alliance also highlighted Pakistan’s long-standing ties with Taliban factions, urging a coordinated regional response to dismantle armed groups threatening security. They warned the global community that terrorism will soon extend beyond Afghanistan, destabilizing the region and the world.

Pakistan’s airstrikes on Wednesday targeted Kabul and Spin Boldak, Kandahar, leaving at least 40 people, including women and children, injured. The Taliban reported that 12 people were killed, and over 100 were wounded in the attacks. In retaliation, Afghan forces killed several Pakistani soldiers and destroyed military installations.
