IGP sends team to probe Senegalese man’s death in Kumasi

Inspector General of Police Christian Tetteh Yohuno sent homicide detectives, forensic specialists, and intelligence officers to Kumasi to investigate the death of Senegalese citizen Cheith Toure. A man identifying himself as Issah brought Toure to Manhyia Government Hospital on Oct. 16, 2025, with abdominal wounds, and he told medical staff the victim suffered injuries in an accident. Hospital workers declared Toure dead on arrival, but Issah moved the body to Ebenezer Mortuary at Tafo.
