India faces tough call on batter for England clash

Anjum Chopra, a former India captain, thinks it will be hard for the Harmanpreet Kaur-led team to leave out any batter for the 2025 Women’s ODI World Cup match against England in Indore. India has four points after losing to South Africa and Australia and is in fourth place. India needs to win at least two of the next three games to have a chance at the semifinals.

Anjum says that if a batter is dropped, Arundhati Reddy might join the team. She believes it will be tough for the coaches to make such a decision, as the batters have been doing well.

England has not lost yet, but they also have some problems, like a weak middle order. They have won close games, and their bowlers have been strong. Anjum thinks India-England will be a high-scoring match.
