Shivraj Singh Chouhan pushes for quick rollout of key agricultural schemes

Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed senior officials to quickly implement the ‘Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana’ and the ‘Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission.’ He plans to meet with ministers from 11 ministries to speed up the execution of these schemes.

The ‘Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission’ will create district-level clusters with state support. Chouhan emphasized the importance of implementing these initiatives at the local level to benefit farmers.

The ‘Pradhan Mantri Dhan-Dhaanya Krishi Yojana,’ launched by Prime Minister Modi, aims to improve agriculture in 100 districts. The ‘Self-Reliance in Pulses Mission’ focuses on increasing pulse production and productivity, with significant employment benefits.
