Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang calls for women’s power to drive Africa’s future

The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, spoke about the importance of helping women and girls in Africa to grow stronger. She said Africa will grow faster when women join in leadership, business, and decision-making. She shared these thoughts at the 27th Zonta International District 18 Club Creator Conference in Accra.

She explained that African countries must work together to solve common problems. She encouraged people to keep training girls to lead and to help women start businesses to boost Africa’s economy. She also mentioned that while governments have worked hard on laws for equality, more teamwork is needed to make real change.
