Military helicopter crash fund raises over GHS8.6 million for children of victims

The Support Fund for children of the victims of the August 6 helicopter crash has raised over GHS8.6 million and US$20,000. The latest update, shared by Dr. Valerie Sawyerr on October 17, confirmed donations from September 23 to October 12. Many people, groups, and organizations have shown their support for the children.

Earlier, the fund had received GHS6.5 million and US$20,000. Donors included big companies like Ghana Airports Ltd and Fidelity Bank. The new donors include the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority and Bui Power Authority.

People can donate through Stanbic Bank or Mobile Money to help the children. The fund was set up by President John Dramani Mahama to help these children have a better future.
