Randy Abbey insists on flying fans to 2026 World Cup despite Dzamefe report
Dr. Randy Abbey, the Chairman of the Black Stars Management Committee, spoke about the importance of getting fans to the 2026 FIFA World Cup. After the 2014 World Cup, the Dzamefe Commission advised the government not to use state funds for flying fans to major tournaments.
However, Dr. Abbey believes fans’ support is vital for the team. He explained that while past mistakes must be fixed, supporters should still travel to support the team at the World Cup. He emphasized that it’s important to figure out the best way to do it.
Ghana will play in the World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and the group draw will happen on December 5.
