Kyaukme reopens schools as security, healthcare improve

The government and local communities in Kyaukme are working together to reopen schools. Four schools in the area have reopened, including Naungpain Basic Education High School on 16 October. A total of 3,636 students are now attending school, with 589 new students registered.

These students received free textbooks and other materials from the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Immigration is issuing citizenship cards to returning residents, and security forces are clearing mines in public areas. Medical teams have also opened a temporary hospital, treating 91 outpatients and providing care to others.
