TNLA terrorists burn buildings in Hsipaw as Tatmadaw fights back

TNLA terrorists set fire to government buildings and civilian homes in Hsipaw Township. Tatmadaw has been working to regain control of towns temporarily occupied by TNLA, DPLA, and PDF groups. They successfully took back Nawnghkio on 16 July 2025 and Kyaukme on 1 October 2025, with efforts continuing to rebuild these areas.

Tatmadaw units entered Hsipaw to restore security after TNLA and allied groups carried out violent acts. Smoke was seen near the town entrance, prompting action to clear the area. It was confirmed that TNLA set fire to government offices and private homes. Tatmadaw is still working to control fires and ensure safety in the township.
