Mahabharat actor Pankaj Dheer dies at 68 after cancer battle

Actor Pankaj Dheer, famous for his role as Karn in the epic TV series Mahabharat, passed away at 68. His co-star, Feroz Khan, expressed his sadness on Instagram, sharing a throwback photo with Dheer. The cause of death is not officially confirmed, but reports suggest he had been battling cancer, which had relapsed recently.

Dheer’s funeral will take place at 4:30 pm at Pawan Hans Crematorium in Mumbai. The Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA) mourned his loss, praising his contributions to Indian cinema and TV. Dheer is survived by his son, actor Nikitin Dheer, known for Chennai Express.
