MECH splits from Velichye over no-confidence votes

MECH parliamentary faction leader Radostin Vasilev announced his party will cease collaborating with Velichye representatives on government confidence motions after receiving numerous complaints about alleged financial misconduct. Vasilev characterized the situation as resembling a fraudulent scheme and instructed colleagues to terminate contact with legislators Ivelin Mihaylov and Stiliyana Bobcheva, calling for their immediate parliamentary departures.

The politician expressed opposition to proposed special administration arrangements for the Lukoil refinery, describing the measure as harmful while claiming authorities improperly seized company operations. Vasilev confirmed his group lacks information regarding potential administrator candidates.
