Miley Cyrus drops new song for Avatar sequel
Singer-songwriter Miley Cyrus will contribute a new song, Dream as One, to the soundtrack of Avatar: Fire and Ash. She co-wrote the track with Andrew Wyatt, Mark Ronson, and Simon Franglen. The song will play during the film’s end credits and appear on the official soundtrack.
Franglen composed the film’s full score. The soundtrack releases on December 12, and Dream as One drops on November 14. Cyrus shared a preview on social media, saying the project holds deep personal meaning for her due to her experiences with loss and renewal. She praised the film’s themes of unity, healing, and love.
Avatar: Fire and Ash is the third installment in James Cameron’s series, following 2022’s Avatar: The Way of Water. It features returning cast members Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, and Sigourney Weaver, along with new additions including Kate Winslet and Edie Falco. Cyrus previously contributed Beautiful That Way to The Last Showgirl soundtrack in December 2024.
