Min Aung Hlaing calls for security and regional work
Myanmar’s military chief directed armed forces personnel to expand their responsibilities beyond combat operations to include community development initiatives across the Southeast Command region. The commander stressed that troops must uphold strict discipline standards and combat readiness through consistent training regimens. Military units received instructions to support the upcoming multiparty elections while simultaneously addressing local economic needs within their operational zones. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing visited injured service members receiving medical treatment at the Mawlamyine military hospital, addressing their recovery needs and authorizing additional facility resources.
