Mitov hints at ministerial changes, negotiations ahead of stable majority
Interior Minister Daniel Mitov said he could not confirm if there would be a change of ministers. He explained that the decision is in the hands of the Prime Minister, and negotiations are still ahead.
At a GERB Executive Committee meeting, both GERB leader Boyko Borisov and Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov opposed early elections. They emphasized the need for negotiations with BSP, “There is Such a People,” and DPS-New Beginning to create a stable majority.
Mitov also addressed Boyko Borisov’s comments about the elections in Pazardzhik, saying he is responsible for the professional leadership of the police. As a result, he ordered an inspection and removed the director of the Pazardzhik police.
