Modi celebrates unstoppable India at NDTV World Summit
Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a powerful keynote at the NDTV World Summit 2025, highlighting India’s unstoppable progress. He recalled how, before 2014, India faced challenges like economic instability, policy paralysis, and safety concerns, but now, India has risen as one of the top global economies, with inflation under 2 percent and growth above 7 percent.
PM Modi emphasized India’s self-reliance, citing its decisive responses to terrorism, such as surgical strikes and Operation Sindoor. He praised India’s rapid response to COVID-19, including vaccine development and efficient distribution.
The Prime Minister also reflected on India’s transformation in sectors like banking, where his government opened over 50 crore Jan Dhan accounts, and petroleum, where petrol pumps now operate 24/7. He noted India’s growing appeal to global investors, with significant investments in AI, green energy, and semiconductor sectors.
Modi highlighted India’s efforts to combat Maoist violence, showing a dramatic reduction in affected districts from 125 to just 11. He also underscored the government’s commitment to empowering the youth and tribals, stressing that India’s development must include dignity and empathy. The speech concluded with Modi reaffirming India’s future as a developed nation.
