Narayanganj shakes off godfathers with e-bail system
Narayanganj used to have many godfathers who made it hard for people to get justice, said Law Adviser Asif Nazrul on Wednesday. He spoke at the launch of the “e-Bail Bond: Ease of Access to Justice” program at the Narayanganj Circuit House. The program aims to make Narayanganj a place where justice is fair and free from torture. Nazrul explained that the e-Bail Bond system will help shift the district from oppression to justice.
He also talked about legal reforms to make justice easier, cheaper, and faster. Plans include digitizing testimonies from key officials to speed up court cases. Nazrul mentioned that they are working to end long delays in the High Court.
