Pazardzhik re-enters 19 election protocols after data errors

The Pazardzhik Municipal Election Commission will re-enter results from 19 protocols after discovering data entry errors. Information Service notified the commission on Oct. 19 about discrepancies in vote tallies for municipal councilors from elections held on Oct. 12.

A computer analysis revealed changes to the database and personnel composition of the newly announced Municipal Council. The Central Election Commission had provided the protocols on Oct. 16 for verification.

Commission members will re-dictate information from protocols containing incorrect entries. The first meeting of the new Municipal Council is scheduled for Oct. 23.
