PM Modi prays for well-being of all Indians at Srisailam temple
After visiting the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Srisailam on Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared on ‘X’ that he prayed for the well-being and good health of all Indians. He expressed hopes for happiness and prosperity for everyone.
PM Modi, accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, participated in rituals at the temple, which is one of the 12 Jyotirlings and 52 Shakti Peeths. He is the fourth Prime Minister to visit the temple, after Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, and P. V. Narasimha Rao.
The Prime Minister also visited the Sree Shivaji Spoorthi Kendra, a memorial dedicated to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Later, he attended a public meeting on GST reforms and laid the foundation for development projects worth Rs 13,430 crore in Andhra Pradesh. This marks his fifth visit to the state since the TDP-led NDA government came to power.
