Randeep Hooda returned to his workout regimen after Diwali festivities, sharing photographs of his physical transformation on social media. The Sarbjit star showcased his fitness progress while hinting at preparations for an upcoming film project. His posts suggested a fresh professional endeavor begins soon.

Hooda and his wife, Lin Laishram, previously shared moments from their Karva Chath observance. The couple met through Naseeruddin Shah’s Motley theatre group and married in November 2023 in a Meitei ceremony in Imphal, Manipur. They confirmed their relationship publicly in 2022 after living together during the pandemic lockdown period.

The actor obtained film rights to Operation Khukri, which chronicles a 2000 peacekeeping incident. The planned production will depict the rescue of 233 Indian soldiers held by rebel forces in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Major General Rajpal Punia and Damini Punia authored the source material for the adaptation.
