Rishab Shetty meets HD Deve Gowda, receives blessings after ‘Kantara’ success

Sandalwood actor Rishab Shetty met former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda on Thursday to celebrate the success of his film Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1. During the meeting, Rishab received words of wisdom and a loving pat on the head from Deve Gowda. Sharing a photo on social media, Rishab expressed his gratitude, saying it was an honor to receive blessings from a man who enhanced the glory of Kannadigas.

Rishab also shared how he filmed the climax of Kantara despite dealing with a swollen leg and exhaustion. He posted pictures of his swollen feet and thanked everyone for their support, attributing the success to divine blessings.

After the film’s success, Rishab has been on a religious journey, offering prayers at the Chamundeshwari Temple in Mysuru and the Srikanteshwara Temple in Nanjangud. He plans to visit the Murudeshwari Temple in Bihar next.
