Roundtable debates kids social access

Bulgaria’s education ministry will convene a national forum examining whether social media access for minors requires regulatory controls. The discussion represents a collaborative effort with four parliamentary committees covering education, demographics, health, and labor policy.

Officials plan to explore how digital platforms affect youth behavior, communication patterns, learning outcomes and online safety while considering potential oversight mechanisms. The ministry will stream the proceedings through its website for public viewing.
