Salvation for All expands food security program in Chiradzulu

As Malawi faces one of its toughest hunger seasons, Salvation for All Ministries International has expanded its agricultural empowerment program to Chiradzulu District. This follows a similar initiative in Machinga, as part of the church’s Hope Field Initiative to ensure long-term food security.

Led by Apostle Clifford Kawinga, the program provided solar water pumps, fertilizer, hoes, and maize seed to four farmers’ clubs in Chiradzulu. The initiative aims to shift from food aid to food independence, helping communities cultivate their own food and reduce dependency.

Kawinga highlighted the program’s biblical roots, emphasizing that empowering people to grow food is as important as spiritual care. Local leaders expressed hope that this support will improve livelihoods and enable families to be more self-sufficient. The ministry plans to expand the program to more districts in the future.
