Selangor acts on school safety after fatal stabbing

The Selangor government is taking action to improve safety at the Bandar Utama school after a student was stabbed and killed. Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari said the state is working with the Education Ministry, police, and parents to make schools safer. Immediate steps include using metal detectors, adding more CCTV cameras, and setting up a system for better communication between teachers and parents.

The state will also hold a memorial to remember the victim and help everyone cope with the loss. Amirudin said the goal is to make schools safe again and stop this from happening in the future.
