Anwar Ibrahim proposes crackdown on school violence and social media use
The Cabinet made three quick decisions to improve school safety. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim explained that these steps aim to stop bullying and crime in schools. The first measure is to improve school safety by having more police checks. The second step raises the age for using social media to 16 because of concerns about its bad effects.
The third step is to change school lessons to teach good values. Anwar said that this will help students grow into better people. He also asked teachers, parents, and school leaders to work together to keep students safe. The Education Minister will share more details soon.
