2025 Umno General Assembly postponed to January 2026

The 2025 Umno General Assembly, originally scheduled for November 26 to 29, has been postponed to January 14 to 17 next year.

Umno secretary-general Datuk Dr Asyraf Wajdi Dusuki explained that the rescheduling was due to a clash with the 17th Sabah State Election, which will take place from November 15 to 29.

The postponement aims to allow Umno leadership and its machinery to fully focus on supporting Barisan Nasional Sabah in regaining the trust of the people and leading the government for the well-being of Sabahans.

Previously, the assembly was also postponed from August to late November to accommodate preparations for the Sabah state elections.
