SheMillionaire Awards spotlight African women in Johannesburg

The SheMillionaire African Women Wealth Builders Awards will recognize female entrepreneurs and business leaders on Nov. 8, 2025, in Johannesburg under the theme Empower a Woman. Founder Mandy Sigauke said the ceremony aims to inspire financial independence among African women while honoring their economic contributions across the continent. Speakers at the fourth annual event will be Zimbabwean businesswoman Zodwa Mkandla, Ethiopian Ambassador to South Africa Marsha Gabriel, and African Continental Free Trade Area CEO Nervine Nakhla. The organization awarded 100 scholarships through its Wealth Building and Training Academy, and participants from Australia, the United Kingdom, and multiple African nations will attend the ceremony.
