Shilpa Shetty remembers late father on 9th death anniversary

Shilpa Shetty marked the 9th death anniversary of her father, Surendra Shetty, with a heartfelt post on Instagram. She shared a childhood photo with her dad, where he appears to have playfully tickled her, leaving her smiling brightly. In her caption, she wrote, “Miss your smile… Miss YOU Daddy,” alongside a red heart and folded hands emoji.

Her father passed away on October 11, 2016, after suffering a cardiac arrest. He was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead.

In a lighter update, Shilpa attended a Karwa Chauth celebration hosted by Sunita Kapoor, where she shared a video of the beautifully decorated event, praising Sunita for her impeccable arrangements. Shilpa looked stunning in a red embroidered outfit and statement jewellery, joining Bollywood stars like Mira Kapoor and Raveena Tandon.

Earlier, Shilpa called herself a “Batatavada girl,” posting fun photos enjoying a Vada Pav, dressed in a bandhani saree.
