Shubhankar Sharma surges to top Indian spot at DP World Championship

Shubhankar Sharma made a strong comeback in the second round of the US$4 million DP World India Championship 2025 at Delhi Golf Club. He shot a bogey-free six-under 66 to climb 67 spots and end the day tied 32nd with a total of four-under 140. Other top Indians include Dhruv Sheoran, Shiv Kapur, and Anirban Lahiri, all tied at three-under 141. Abhinav Lohan also made the cut with a two-under 142.

Englishman Tommy Fleetwood led the tournament with a 64, reaching 12-under 132. Rory McIlroy was tied 17th at six-under 138. Shubhankar credited his improved performance to better rest, new clubs, and clearer focus. Dhruv Sheoran, who had a tough second round, managed to recover and boost his confidence with a key putt on the 18th hole.
