Tejashwi Yadav files nomination for third term in Raghopur with Rs 8.1 crore assets

Tejashwi Yadav, former Deputy Chief Minister and RJD leader, filed his nomination for the Raghopur assembly seat in Vaishali district on Wednesday, marking his third consecutive run. His affidavit disclosed assets totaling around Rs 8.1 crore, including Rs 6.12 crore in movable and Rs 1.88 crore in immovable assets. His wife, Rajshree Yadav, reported assets worth Rs 1.88 crore. Tejashwi also declared liabilities of Rs 55.55 lakh, including joint loans with his family. The nomination process featured a large roadshow with RJD leaders, including Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi. Tejashwi expressed confidence in another victory and criticized the ruling JDU for aligning with the BJP.
